Question HWH aux air compressor

2005 NEWMAR ESSEX

I recently started working on the auxiliary air compressor.
Ever since I've owned the coach it never automatically kicked in to air -up.
If i manually press the dash button it starts but you cant shut it off. It just keeps running until i pull the inline fuse.
I recently pulled the cover on the pressure switch and touched the plastic blade up and it shut off. My questions are;
is there a few tests I can do to locate the problems.

Check to see if the "compressor Unloader(spitter) valve" is defective..

Hey Sal, I've never tried to Air Up with the little compressor. I'm not sure it has enough capacity. Mine has come on when I've raised the coach above the ride-height limits (manual operation) but I don't recall how it behaved. I assume you have the same "special" HWH 2000 system with air suspension, hydraulic jacks, and extra air leveling while parked. HWH hyd. ram on the gen slide.
Do you have the original Essex manual?

Bruce

The other one nothing happens either way, no sound no action at all.

Bruce,
Not trying to air-up the whole system .
Just trying to get it to refill when low when on auto level.
Can't find any info that came with the couch. all stickers on unit are unreadable.
I have all the equipment you have in your coach.

Doc AP32517 is our system.

Full disclosure: I have never tried Air Leveling. I have always parked with the system dumped and occasionally use jacks. I am typically on level sites.
