HWH Hydraulic full wall slide - the seal
I have places on my slide that I can see daylight when the slide is in.
The daylight that I see is in the corner near the hydraulic lines behind the driver seat. I am not used to seeing daylight in Newmars. I was very used to that in my Fleetwood discovery.
I have looked at the seal, and it is just the normal scraper seal newmar uses on everything, so it may be just this location.
Have others dealt with this?

We have a 18 London Aire we no sun light coming thru slide out seal when slide is closed. Could a rubber seal need to checked or moved so there isn't a gap?

no daylight on might....can't be the way it's supposed to be....
totally negates the benefit of the flush seal on the outside....lets air and water in....
looking forward to a picture....

I have light visible along the entire fws, including where the table is and couch. It is not possible to get a picture of that with my samsung, it's just too big of a phone to get the lens at the proper angle.
Attached are pictures of the front and rear corners where I first noticed daylight.
The last 2 pictures are of the same area, so that a reference point can be established. I couldn't get the lighting correct there.

We just put our slide in and I do not see any light through the seal.
The cover that hides the hardware in the wall keep pulling away from the wall when I bring the slides in. The Velcro piece that attaches to the wall doesn’t stick

I went to the outside to inspect and I am seeing moisture and mud in the corners. I guess I have another issue for Monday.

Depending on who you talk to, you will get several answers.
I spent a week at HWH, and Paul (the owner) spent a lot of time talking about their air seals. They tried to get Newmar to purchase them as part of the deal, but Newmar understands their seal system, and it has worked for 20+ years, so they declined to purchase the air seal.
The issue is that the only way to fix the corners is to overlap the rubber, due to the way the new slide works. It will never be as good as their original slide with the current seal, but it can be a lot better than it is now.
Looking underneath, I think that the seal is about 1/8" too short, and they need a bit taller seal, and then it needs to extend further into the corners.
The HWH Seal is a very cool seal, but I have no idea how much extra that was going to cost newmar. Obviously the newmar purchasing department would not want to spend money for something they believe they have no problem with.
Once I get this addressed, I will know just how good the newmar seal is.

I agree, the plywood is damage already. This is 2 trips in rain, and 3 days of camping in rain.
Plywood doesn't take much to get to this point.
This is the corners of the FWS. The picture is the house portion, not the slide.

I do think this is plywood. It is a single piece of OSB.
