I have a 2001 KSDP with the HWH levelers.
Coach is used about 60 days a year, and when stored (nov to feb) the jacks are NOT down.
I have a left front jack that is leaking badly and dealer says jack bad and they do not rebuild them. Dealer is getting pricing for new jack.
I realize it is out of warranty but just wondered if this is normal lifetime for these jacks (I don't think so) and any suggestions.
Thanks

Having the same problem same jack under drivers seat, mine won't retrack when I want to store jacks have to pry it out with bar. When I find time will try to figure out whats going on. I have released valve on pump but still have to pry it up goes down alright just going up the problem. Had a leak in rear one when I bought the coach was a fitting on top of jack that had to be tighten never had a problem after that.

Gentlemen, from what I've read on this and other RV forums, HWH is a DREAM to work with when you have issues as you discuss...
Rather than dealing with a dealer that seems to not want to help you, why not call or email HWH Contact Info ?

Had the same problem with a HWH jack on a MADP. Used to pry it up with a bar too.
Changed the springs on it and problem fixed immediately. The springs can be bought from CW for under $20.00. Installation is very simple. Took me 10 minutes to remove and install new springs.

My unit was not even one and half year old that I had to replace the springs on all four jacks and one defective jack. The springs did not go bad all at once. One of the rear jack would not fully retract and had to be manually pushed in with a 2 x 4. I called HWH and talked to Steve who had me check for a defective jack by disconnecting the hydraulic line and pushing the jack piston by hand inside the jack. The jack retracted without any problem so the springs were determined to be bad. HWH sent me a set of spring which arrived within one week by UPS. I installed the new springs and no more problem. A few months later, I started to have the same problem with the other rear jack. Once again, I called HWH and upon checking the jack, determined that the springs were bad. HWH sent me another set of springs. A few moths later, it was the turn of the front jacks to go bad - not being able to fully retract. I called Steve at HWH and dtermined that the front springs were bad and that one front jack was defective. Within 10 days I received the springs and one jack. It took one hour to complete the job and everything work perfectly.
I am really impressed by the service received by HWH and especially by Steve. Don't hesitate to contact them for assistance with the HWH Leveling System.

If you are ever in eastern Iowa, HWH is 1/4 mile off of I-80 in Mscow. They prefer appointments ; but, will do their best to accomodate drop-ins. You explain your problem, they put a tech. on it, and before you know it you are good to go. they do not allow any tipping of the techs.
If you are there at lunchtime they will take you to lunch and if you need or want to stay overnight they have a half dozen hook-ups. They are a class outfit and I was amazed at how fully integrated their manufacturing is, i.e. they do their own PC boards, turn all the jack shafts from raw steel stock, etc. Ken,'04DSDP....
