Hydronic zone heating system. Pros and cons of propane or diesel?? Is propane quieter? Is there an electric resistance heating element as well as the fuel heating. How do they work together? Is there a small boiler holding some hot water or does the thing fire up every time you open the hot water tap. Does the heat pump in the AC unit switch over automatically to the hyronic system as the temps go down. In short, how does the darn thing work?

Welcome dougburi to the Newmar forum and irv2.
I believe they work on diesel fuel and they have electric heat element for hot water, here's a link to one may find another also.
Here's the other have some reading to do.

Hi, dougburi, I've had propane and now have the Oasis hydronic and it's a close call, the propane may be a little quieter, but the benefits of the diesel fired are far better, thats my opinion. Good luck on your choice. John

Thanks for the info. You mention the "benefits" of diesel over propane. What are they?
