Hydro Hot not hot

Hi, it is cold and rainy in South Texas today. My Hydro Hot has no power coming to it. Have looked at every 12V fuse I can find looking for the power source. It is on a 04 Newmar Mountain Air MH. No power at the 12V bus bar in the Hydro compartment. Can anyone send me to the location of the fuses controling the Hydro. Thanks for any hints you might have. It is cooold here. Jim

Here's a start. The HH is typically wired off the 12v from the chassis batteries (not the house) to ensure it has power to run the cool down cycle if the master coach 12v switch is shut off. So, look around the area where the relays for the BIRD/Aux-Batt-Boost are for your HH fuse. The HH 12v supply is often tapped right off those.

Boy, if it's not Hydro Hot it's Aqua Hot. Seems alot of the people in our park have the same problem with their systems. I know of five now that are gone or have gone to have them repaired since we've been here. One family has been there now the third time. At least they're replacing the entire unit this time. Hope you resolve your problem.

I forgot, the man, the no-myth, the legend in HH/AH systems is Roger Berke. He's here on irv2 on occasion as well as his site at RV Hydronic Heater Repair - Home

Give him a shout.

Thanks OTTFFSS. You were right on the spot correct. Cleaned dirty connection. Power restored.
