HydroHot owners - especially in an EXDP. Does your HydroHot unit also provide engine preheat? If yes, what rig do you have and year?

No, Newmar does not have the extra pump installed for this feature. The switch however is installed and wired which only lights up when turned on.
The unit however does have a coolant line running from the engine to the heater which will let the heat from the engine keep the HydroHot hot. This requires the motor to be running to circulate the engine coolant through.
I think really with the unit being equipped with a block heater the preheat is not necessary.

Hi! The 2007 MADP does not even have the switch. Just an engine block heater. Paul
