Has anyone used this. Looking for some info., details, workings and value. Where does the video play? How does it connect.
Could not find anything on line.
Thanks!

This is possible (iPhone output to the RCA type TV line input) on iPhones with the 30 pin plug (4/4S and earlier)...reportedly does not work with the 5 and 6.
Use one of these Apple 30 pin to RCA cables: Apple Composite AV Cable - Apple Store (U.S.)
I cannot vouch for how it works.
Best luck

I suspect it is for older generation iPhones where you can use this cable:

You may have this unit in your coach on shelf in your dash which may input leads into your LCD system.
I think it showed on your list of items installed in a CSCA.
Did not find that but this:
--------PLATE GAME AUDIO/VIDEO used if no input to your LCD TV. part 96537
May come with this patch cord also. Part 58822
Looked through QT's # 3, PDR Johns many links a pictures in his Mod Section didn't come across anything about your dash set up he has a DSDP anyway so didn't expect to.
Did not find anything in COM_NET either just your parts no diagrams.
If we chese this down will add in the CS Mod Section/ found this on Goggle dash feeds into radio.

Probably not. I am not an iphone expert but usually AV output like this is for media only and did not duplicate screen output. Of course I could be wrong

Just as an aside, I Phone nav is designed for a regular car. Found out the hard way when we ignored the Nav on the coach in favor of a " shortcut " the I Phone suggested.
15 miles of narrow winding road thru the mountains - not fun !

Looking at your picture in the original post, even on a new new motorhome this technology looks outdated. I'm guessing the only thing you could get from your iPhone would be audio (maybe for something like ITunes or Pandora) in other words this is just an external speaker for your iphone, if you wanted navigation on your display it would have to come from a separate compatible GPS device. The reason I say this is outdated is because this connection should be "Bluetooth" and not "hard wired". Even the new GM cars have Bluetooth technology to play audio from smartphones thru the cars sound system.

We have this cable and used it before we got Apple TV. You can use it for older iPhone video to TV. It is possible I guess to show iPhone nav on your screen. As mentioned earlier tho, I wouldn't rely on iPhone nav solely. We use it to double check our MH GPS.

I agree, this is the only cable that would be compatible between the IPhone and the connections on the OP's pictured post, unless the OP has a newer IPhone with the "lightening" connection. And according to the advertisement for this cable you should be able to watch MOVIES and listen to AUDIO on the iPhone connected to the tv (or in this case a monitor). The display of the NAV app on the iPhone COULD be in a different format than the display for a MOVIE and MAY not display on the OP's monitor. I have 3 Apple products right now but I've found out in situations like this their products don't work like I assumed they would and when I go back and read about the product I see why they didn't work. I been burned enough to be very careful when buying Apple accessories. I would not risk $40 to buy this cable on the assumption that it might work, I would have verification that it would work and so far we haven't been able to verify this as the case. Hopefully the OP can get confirmation from Newmar or Apple that this would work with the Nav app for him. If the OP want to research it more he might want to search something like "how to mirror an IPhone on a tv display". Heck, he just might decide to risk $40 on the cable and give it a shot knowing that he only has $40 to loose.
