I am interested in purchasing a Newaire, but none seem to be available in my area, Chicago. I would love to see one up close, are there any owners out there near Chicago willing to show thier Newaire off?

They were only built by Newmar for a couple of year around 2001. It is a smaller Class A, only about 30' long.

I believe there are only a few left in private hands.

Becks, where are you located. Almaden R.V. repair in San Jose has one. I was just there yesterday and they had one parked in their lot. If you are interested let me know and I will give you their address and phone number. don

Saw one for sale in Elkhart. It was at a utility trailer sales lot on SR 19 across from Hart RV sales. It was black and looked real nice. Not sure on the name of the place but may be Tech Works? They also rent class c motor homes if that helps finding them. Its the big brand rentals you see every where.

Thanks for posting that Bruce, I have always wanted to see the inside of one.
I'd love to snatch that one up, but I'd never use it.

Everytime I see the NewAire, I can't help but think that maybe Newmar or another builder should revisit the 29' pusher concept.
An aerodynamic, lighter weight using composites, small displacement short diesel pusher with luxury amenities could be of interest to today's market--it's a very different climate compared to 2001.
It should have a slide, the drive train should be a diesel/hybrid capable of reaching 20 mpg. Maybe Mercedes Benz/Freightliner could come up with a chassis/drivetrain? Or Spartan?
I just don't see 45' 5-6 mpg coaches being the future of RVing.
