In need of some help - LP problem

Hello. We just started living our dream about four days ago. We bought a 2014 Newmar Canyon Star 3921 from the original owner. He did a walk thru with my husband and the furnace and on-demand water were working. When we arrived home and started the set-up we have hit a snag. No LP gas going to the range or the heater. Main tank gauge is on and gauges are reading full tank. Is there another turn on switch we may have missed? Help is appreciated. I'm thinking we are going to be regular poster here for awhile..

Welcome to the forum.
If you turn the burners of stove top on can your light them?
Have you checked the valve on your LP tank and its completely opened?
In your display area is there a LP switch and its on?
Here is a Owners Guide for coach and below in my signature are links to many more for your Newmar.

Now you have a wonderful opportunity to discover one of the good reasons for owning a Newmar. Call their Customer Service, give them your VIN, describe your problem. They will help.

Hi Spiderwoman,
When you say the main tank gage is on, I do not know what that means. Consider:
1. Is the LP tank valve open fully? Turn counter clockwise all the way.
2. There are many appliances that operate on LP. Not knowing your coach try an appliance that does not require much LP. Refer, hot water heater, etc.
3. Is the LP detector on? Some coaches require this.

If it worked when you picked up the coach it should work now. I hesitate to suggest the regulator (at the main tank) but it is a possibility. They are cheap and easy to replace.

Check the detector. Ours was under the sink on the floor and we had hit it while using the vacuum. Took an hour or so for the light to come on in my head to look there.

Thanks to all that responded with suggestions to troubleshoot our problem. We think we have found the the problem. The tank appears empty and the gauge is broke. Newmar customer service was awesome when I called and setting us up to repair all issues with the Coach under Warranty. YEH!!! We still had a month left on the Warranty period when we purchased. Already thinking we made a great decision to go with a Newmar. Thanks again to all.
