To other Newmar owners whose rig has the Newmar installed 5/10 watt solar panel for engine batteries.

I can't find my info re; solar panel, I know the inside control was replaced under warranty , but the tech said the replacement was for a winnie, but would work,

Why the question,? My engine batteries keep going dead this time of year whether in bright sun or not.

Can a higher watt solar panel be installed using same wiring and control?? By the way, the batteries in question are 15 months old, Interstate, group 31.

First, I needd info about panel on an 02 diesel pusher and then info regarding repair or re-placement.

Thanks for taking time to read this and maybe respond with info.

Thanks===== AJBJRVERS

I just took delivery of a 06 MADP on 12/5. Upon looking through all my papers and etc., I can't find anything about the solar panel other than it is a 5 watt panel. Sorry, this is the best I can do. I know it is for the engine batteries, but I don't believe it will be enough to keep them fully charged.
