Anyone have a source for the motor for our DStar step cover. Mines shot. Don't really use it, but should be replaced.

Here is a link that you may need. You will need to know which actuator you actually have. More than likely it's the same one I had which has been discontinued and replaced with an upgraded model. Depending on what's wrong it might be fixable.
Commercial Duty Electromechanical Actuators, Electric Actuators

The motor in my 2005 DS came apart which is a common problem. I propped up the steps and reached in and disconnected the motor assembly. The little screws holding the motor together has stripped out. I drilled holes through the motor and installed long and skinny screws and nuts to hold the motor together. I installed the assembly and it has worked great the last three years. And it didn't cost anything to repair it.

Took mine apart and the gears are broken. Anyone know the cost of replacement?
Thanks for the link. Looks like it's what I'm looking for.
