Would be interested to see a picture of these new pumps and any comments on their construction.

ITR took the pump design and manufacturing in-house after persistent reliability issues with the out sourced pump manufacturer. All pumps are now manufactured by ITR and have been for quite a while.

The construction of the pump is solid! These new pumps were designed to operate while hanging off of the hoses, the feet for mounting the pumps have been deleted.

Just for your FYI/curiosity, The GRI pump that failed in 20 months of part time use...
The GRI Pump is made of phenolic/plastic type material and employs a magnetically coupled impeller. I could hear and feel the motor operating so the magnetic impeller was jammed. I tapped the pump and it worked for a few hours before it jammed again. Photo 1, GRI Pump with the mount feet removed. Photo 2, Flow Cap removed, Impeller exposed. Photo 3, Impeller removed. Photo 4, Note the slivers of “plastic” like material that came out of the Impeller cap area found several of these... Suspicioning they may have been the source of the binding as the Impeller assembly and the rotor all run wet with hot boiler fluid used as the interface lubricant, no bearings ... Oh well, new ITR pump is installed and the system is running!

Got the new pump installed and all is well. Very little fluid loss and with the new pump not having to be mounted saved some time. Was worried about the condition of the hoses, they were still in good condition. Using my hose removal pliers helped. The pump was smaller than the old one so that helped with the tight confinement problem. Took about 30 to 45 minutes to take the old one off and put the new one in. Thanks for all your help and comments.
