Interesting Slide Behaviour

When attempting to retract the living area slide on the driver's side of my KSDP, I can hear the motor turn for about a second and stop. I then toggle the slide switch again and the slide closes as expected. Any idea why I have this false start? This little glitch is becoming a trend.

Sounds like a minor adjustment to a pot switch. The slides are controlled, or limited to certain amp ranges. The slide will stop if the targeted amperage is reached. An increase in this field can correct such issues usually.

If you go to section 12.3 page 5 and see if you have this switch. It maybe the cause of your problem.
If you do not than as Lug_Nut said you will need to adjust the pot on control board for that slide.
You only adjust a hair at a time do not over do it or you can cause damage to fascia of slide.
