We just bought a 2004 Mountain Aire 5th wheel. It's been lived in but taken care of. It came without the owner's manual, which Newmar says they'll replace for $100; don't want to do that.
My question relates to the cleaning of the sinks, toilet and shower. Our prior rig was a 2004 Itasca Class C. There were very specific cleaning instructions: no abrasives on the sinks, no chemicals. Basically everything was to be cleaned with hot water and mild soap. I realize this was to keep things from getting scratched and the finish from wearing off. Anything I should know about my Newmar?
Also, on the flooring by the front door, there is a huge yellowed area that is due to the sun, I assume. Is there any way to lighten that or take it away completely?
The inside of the regular oven has baked on grease/splatters. Can I use oven cleaner or should I do the ammonia soaked paper towel routine? They are on the back and top of the oven.
The inside top of the convection/microwave also has baked on grease/splatters. What is the best way to clean this?
Thanks for any help you can give me. I am not OCD when it comes to cleaning, but I do like a tidy ship.
