We spent 2-3 months figuring out which was the best coach for us...? We looked at Tiffin, American, Integra and Newmar... Hands down the best quality was Newmar and to be honest the Tiffin and American didn't even make the final cut... The Entegra Anthem we both liked the graphics on it the best but that's where it stopped... There floor plans just didn't do it for us we like to watch TV from the dining table and there TVs all were Mid coach and they didn't have anything at the time that we could do that from and after spending a couple hours checking things out we started seeing things we just didn't care for and most of it was finishing work from bad tile cuts to drawers that weren't even and the list went on and on... SWAG!!! So for 10k more we got all the custom stuff we wanted to make our Dutchie our own like picking different floor tiles, counter tops, back splashes, leathers etc all from there higher end coaches which no on else would do for use... Newmar all the way...!

This may not apply on this forum but maybe you should ask on other forum how well their Entegra stands up to time in use, cabinets, appliances, living quality, every day to day workings of the coach.
Newmars have been around a long time and we have older Newmar owners as seen in QT's #3 old coach section, of people really enjoying their older Newmars.

Would love to see Newmar build an interior like the new Winnebago Horizon - we love the modern light and airy look.

I have purchased two coaches, both brand new. Each time I began the process intending to buy Newmar and wound up buying something else. In 2003 I had the Duchstar all specked out and was working with a dealer on specials when I discovered that the coach had less than 700 pounds of load carrying capacity! Wound up buying a Beaver.
In 2013 the Beaver was having some delamination problems so it was time for something new. I intended to buy a MountainAire but during shopping I discovered the Entegra Anthem. Wound up buying the Anthem for the following reasons:
Floorplan had much more aisle space with slideouts closed.
Basement storage was much better, both in floor area and in height from floor to frame rails.
At the time, Anthem had Spartan chassis, MA had Freightliner (Newmar now offers both).
Price was better for Anthem and most stuff was standard and not extra cost.
Anthem had 2 yr warranty vs 1 yr on MA.
Now we are aproaching 5 years owning the Anthem. We have had no issues with electrical systems or with doors splitting as mentioned above. While the coach had some teething problems none were major and we are very happy with it.
If I purchased another coach I would again be tempted to buy Newmar because of high quality, the no carpet floor system, and Comfort Drive. But I would likely wind up with anther Entegra because of the great factory support, 2 yr warranty, wider aisle floor plans, and bedroom cieling fan which we find indispensable and can't be done on Newmar due to their ceiling duct system.
As for the aesthetics they are both attractive and that is a personal decision which will vary from one person to another.
Regarding customization, we did heavy aftermarket mods to our Anthem and got it just the way we want, and it still cost us less than a Newmar would have cost with equivalent equipment and mods.
Bottom line, they are both fine coaches and both have advantages and disadvantages versus the other. Each person will decide based on which issues are most important to them, but you won’t go wrong with either coach.

Marc - I was just about to weigh in when I saw your post. As usual - well said.
We bought our Anthem the same day Marc bought his so we both have pretty much the same history.
Both are great coaches. We haven't had issues with our doors or electrical systems. In our Cornerstone we have the new "Y" floorplan and really like it.
We also have had great experience with the service and the 2 Year warranty. We have a midship angled TV as well as the front TV so the aft booth seat is fine for watching TV and working/surfing.. One aspect of the Newmar that didn't appeal to us (Personal Preference) was the lift TV's behind the sofa.
We prefer the single bath putting more space up front. Also since the "options" on the Entegra work for us, we didn't need to customization offerings of Newmar.
Maybe we are so old that our Great Grandmother's style works for us - but it does.
No wrong answers here. If we didn't have an Entegra it would be a Newmar.

What sold us was almost immediate heated floor on Newmar vs. much longer time to heat Entegra floor. Totally different systems.

my point being Chevy vs. Ford is that both Newmar and Entegra have their brand allegiance among consumers. We looked & drove both during our search which was also our formal entry into the RV lifestyle and made our choice based upon our individual preferences.

Given that there is virtually zero wood trim in that coach, what would Newmar do with their surplus craftsmen?

Our favorites at this time right now are the DS 4369 and Anthem 44A. DW prefers the interior of the DS. At this point, the DS 4369 is our 1st choice.

Caught that right away. I was trying to address the visual preferences of the viewers.
