Sounds like you killed the chassis batteries........and the charger/inverter is on over time trying to charge them back up. You did not mention the shore power amp. you are plugged into......Let it charge your batteries back up.........and settle back down.........

Pale horse, thanks. I talked to CS and they told me pretty much the same thing. To turn the inverter off and leave coach plugged in. That thing was hot! And I was afraid I had fried something.
Thanks again

You are welcome Bill, what kind of batteries do you have and can you adjust the charge rate on the charger? If so , I would drop the charge rate back a bit and let them charge back up at a little slower rate over the next day or so......this will keep the heat down in the batteries.
And, if they are wet cell batteries, check the water levels before plugging in to charge them back up just to make sure the water levels are at the proper level.

They're AGM's and I don't know if the charge rate can be adjusted or not.
Thanks again.

If you have a Magnum charger inverter with rc50 remote control charge rate can be lowered using your rc5o. Just set the charge percentage at a lower rate than the 80% that is factory default. Setting can be changed by going into settings (button). A good look at the manual would help.

...the inverter will shut down when over heated and restart when it cools down.
