Inverter Question

Ok, I'm parked in a truck stop for the night. I only have my generator or inverter for 110V power. I thought since I lost power to my 2 TV's on the last go around & Had to reset my inverter, I now knew which outlets were on the inverter. Well the generator isn't on & I decided to try the TV & there is no power to the outlets!!! These are the same outlets that lost power when the inverter breaker tripped. So, what am I missing? Shouldn't these outlets have power from the inverter when not connected to shore power?

Thanks for any info.

I assume your inverter breaker is not tripped again?? Yes, I would think at least the front tv should be working.......Any power to anything in the video compartment right now?

We have an Inverter switch. Do you? Is it turned on?

I'm guessing that you checked all fuses?

No power to any of the outlets that went dead when the inverter tripped the last time. I ran the generator & the TV's were fine.

The inverter will shut down when the batteries run down. That might be the problem.

or as others have suggested it might be disabled at the control panel.

Batteries are not even a year old & fully charged! The strange thing is the inverter tripped while on shore power. When I reset at the inverter the outlets had power. Now I'm not on shore power & the outlets are dead! The remote panel says it's inverting, so I must be missing something. Is it possible there is another switch back at the inverter location?

We have a switch both on the control panel and in the power cord compartment.

I for some reason would lose inverter power because the GFI on inverter would trip for some reason.
Never bothered to try to find out why would just reset the GFI and it would work until the next time.
Not sure if its a surge to GFI to trip it from Gen or hooking up the shore power.
Do not have any indicator light in coach only the surround system has a LED on it red when not working which would tell me to reset GFI if no red LED.
I would check the GFI again and reset it may solve the problem, the inverter is plugged into a outlet in my bay maybe I should check it for loose wiring connection.
