After several hours of troubleshooting, I think I found the culprit.
Seems if I use my ipad pro tethered I get too many redirects. Found a starbucks and all is working fine now. Must have been my cell phone link as it works sometimes and not others. Don’t know why it only effected safari. But if I ever find out will let you all know.
So for those of you on the road and tethered to a hotpot, if you can’t post and are screeming at you screen that you have the same issue then; try using the app, another browser, or find a starbucks

Mark,
Glad that you zeroed in on the issue. I use the app on my iPad without issue. Travel safely,

Thanks. Back at the coach now and tethered. Tried to reply on safari and when I logged in the standard “if the browser doesn’t redirect you hit this link” appeared. Didn’t hit the link. Safari errored with too many redirects again. Only seems to effect my ability to log on, reading forum is fine. And only when I tether, sometimes. But is pretty consistent here in South Dakota. Worked fine tethered in Colorado at the Rally last year. So am posting using opera.
Will use the app and make sure it works. Thanks to all for suggesting the app. Forgot it existed and was used to using a browser.
Hope this all helps someone someday.

I use the iRV2 app and it works better than a browser

My first use of the app. Hope this posts ok...
BTW here is the IRv2 response to my trouble ticket:
Thank you for contacting iRV2 Forums tech support desk. The too many redirect error is a problem with Safari. If you Google that issue, you'll find many steps to take to correct the issue.
Best Regards,
Lori - Social Knowledge Support Team
So there ya go. Seems they have run into this before.

For those others (that may come across this) that want to force safari to close or any other app, these are the steps. These steps are important along with any other steps. Followed with a reboot.
FWIW this can help without the trouble of putting in passwords and reauthoizing trusted websites that happens after clearing cookies.
Also, for some amusement have a scroll on all the apps you have open. Might want to close them occasionally.

I actually only have a bad time on bradsdeals.com with reloading. Not this site...and currently tethered to my phone sitting in a campsite.

That's interesting.. I am on this forum with the iPad via the home ISP, via a conventional Verizon Hotspot, and via my ATT iPhone in hotspot mode and have no collection of errors like this but I'll keep an eye out. If you have an Ad Block running, might try shutting it off and see what that gets you?

Shut everything off and still issues. What I have found is that some, not all, cell towers cause this issue. Good to know it is a possibility should it happen to you.
I’ve been using the ipad app and it has been working flawlessly. If I tell the app to show the web view, boom, too many redirects. No problem with any other browser than Safari. Or while on wifi.

I use this app on my iPhone. Only thing I miss with it are the user signatures.
