OK, here's my question, I have a 98 DSDP, last week I left the inverter on and the coach batteries were all most flat. I plugged it into a 50 amp service for two days and the batteries were still at 10.7 volts. We took a road trip and I had the generator running down the road for four hours and then plugged into 50 amp service camp ground. Three days later only 11.3 volts. I checked the output of the 7.5 Power Source charger and it was 13.95 volts. Am I missing something?? Is there something else in the charging system, or are the batteries so old they won't take a charge anymore.
Thank You for all the help.

Could be they are to old but before tossing I would put a battery charger on them and see if they hold that charge.
Any time when my batteries need a charge will use charger the Gen, altenator or converter will take to long to get them up to where they should be.
If they than drop charge need new batteries.

I change mine from two 6v to two 12v AGM's from Sam's worked for me this winter traveling to FL. and dry camping at Cracker Barrels overnight. It was cold but furnace worked all night.
Traveling all day charged them right up for next night.

Your batteries may be sulfated preventing them from being charged as quickly as they should. Clean and tighten the battery connections. Check the cells for proper water level and if you need to add water use distilled water. Once the batteries are fully charge they need to be equalized according to the procedure outlined by the battery manufacturer.
