Is Newmar Closed on Fridays Again?

Just called to order some parts & no answer. The phone rang & rang & then disconnected. And yes, I know I dialed the correct number!

I called yesterday at 4:50 EST and no answer. I finally called emergency road service number and asked if they were open. The gentleman there said, "Ya, they aint suppose to leave before 5 but sometimes they do".
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? Sounds like a little QC is in order.

I received a couple of emails from Phil Stilley today, so apparently he was working.

Newmar is open five days a week. The parts department closes at 3 PM. The parts department is also closed from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The employees work to 5 PM. However, there has been additional thinning of the staff so they are doing other jobs after 3 PM.

An example of this is that Darla is no longer with Newmar. Another person is now doing the tours. With Darla, tours were her main if not only job. With the new person, the tours are a part of her overall responsibility. She has quite a few other responsibilities.

Newmar was open and doing business as usual when I left yesterday morning (Friday). I have ordered parts several times and I always call before 2:30 pm and always get a person on the line.

Christy Brown, at Parts, is also changing jobs as she informed me on my recent order - she was and still is a geat person -she directed me to another pleasant fellow ! Life goes on at Newmar

Is there an e-mail address for parts? I always communicate with customer service (Jeff is awesome) by e-mail for general info, but I've never found an e-mail address for parts.

I always prefer e-mail... then I'm not wasting my time and they can answer when they have time -- win-win for everyone. Spartan excels in this area.
