Is there a remote satellite connection on a 2012 Ventana

Hello Everyone,

Can someone tell me if there is a satellite connection for a remote satellite dish? I have owned my 2012 Ventana 4324 for about three weeks and haven't found it if there is one. In my current location the roof satellite dish works fine but if I were in trees it would be nice to have the option of using a remote dish.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum & irv2 millerj.
If your talking about another dish set up near MH maybe a A/B switch feeding the selector box will work.

I don't think Newmar has ever installed an alternate satellite feed connector as standard equipment. You'll need to do something yourself, probably using A-B switches as 007 says.

millerj,

When ordering my Ventana, the option sheet showed multiple option for satellite systems. I have the in motion dome for the roof, but did not order the additional ground based hook up for the tri pod style connection, and what you are looking for may not have been installed at the factory. So until someone else chims in with an exact location for the ground based option, in addition to the other posts, all I can recommend is to try the cable input which is located in the LS shore power compartment

That is where the KVH technician hooked his dish up to my coach. Just make sure the cable coax is connected to your receiver input...either directly or thru a switch.
