Some time ago I purchased the Drain Master sewer hose which uses camlocs, I liked the connection so much I changed all my water connections to them

Had fun reading through this thread. Regarding the pressure washer, if any of you had a coach about to go into production at Newmar (mine is a VTDP 4315), what would you request as mods for this? Maybe at least a plug in the peg board storage area?

Have them add an outlet in each of the front and back bays. On both sides, unlimited options.

I had to add an outlet when I mounted a pressure washer.

I don't think Newmar will put the road wave in anything but King Aires.

Has anyone installed a Road Wave pressure washer in their motorhome?
I reviewed The Road Wave video regarding installation and assembly which looks very, very simple. However, I'm concerned about the connection to the waterline as I am not as skilled as most of the folks on this post. The only problem with the Road Wave is the cost of $1295. Nevertheless I see it is a value added convenience for me especially before I get to my campsite and while I'm on the road having a lot of bug accumulation on the windshield, front cap and else where.
I called Newmar and they tell me that they install this unit between the first pullout bay and the bay that houses the outside refrigerator/freezer. I am told that they also attach this to the "hot water line." Therefore one can use either hot or cold water for power washing. This unit is very simple to install. Newmar will be sending me some of their specs for installation of the Road Wave on their their King Aire coaches. Once I get these specs I will share them with anyone who's interested.

Hmmm, might want to add that to the Magna we just got but need to find room.

I would love to see how they are mounting it.

Having used my installed electric washer, having the hose mounted on a reel would be nice. The hot water wash kicked butt, really speeds things up.

The Road Wave is far nicer then my cheap washer, but I don't have room for it.

I tried pricing out all the parts to build an identical washer, you'll be close in dollars.

Has anyone inquired if Newmar will add it as an option/special in models below the King Aire ?

I don't think there is space on anything below 45'.

Do you're in the clear to be the test subject.

I'll ask Michelle when I meet with her in the next couple of weeks to discuss my specials.

If they will allow me to add it as an option, maybe I can start a coach washing business on the side; then it will pay for itself

We get our washed and hand waxed for 120. If you are competitive I will consider having you do it! LOL Probably cost you more in fuel to come to our location than I am willing to pay.

But I really like the idea. I am going to try to hook up my Karcher to the outside shower taps. I think it will deliver enough water to be effective and we have RO water on board so no spots!

Just make sure it doesn't use more then 1.5-6 gpm. Any more and the RV system won't feed it.

We can run ours off the pump without problem. Even when hooked to city water, I turn the pump on to ensure enough water.

The hot water cleans much faster then cold.

Thanks John - never thought of that but will check it out now that I know.
