I have three rooftop units. When I just have the center unit on, very little air comes out of the ceiling vents. I have removed the vent covers and find that there is very good air flow in the ceiling but there doesn't seem to be anything to divert it down out of the vent.

If I turn on the front a/c at the same time the center one is on, I get a lot of air out of the center vent.

Can someone tell me if this is normal?

You may have to have the center one checked to see if cool air is coming out at the roof level that AC may be missing the correct seals and air is not going into the duct system.

On mine two AC's when the front is on will get most air out front vents and some out bedroom, with only bedroom on most air out bedroom some front, your center one on alone would have to spread both front and rear with less air volume out all the vents plus you have a longer coach.
Did you ever have work done on that AC?

I just checked again and I do get great airflow through the ducts but there is nothing to divert it down. It just seems to dissipate as it blows towards the front. I guess when the front turns on, the center can no longer blow through the duct so it comes out. I feel there should be some type of diverter to have it come down instead of across the opening. This a/c has never been removed.

I know what you mean the air has to build up towards the front if I only run the bedroom alone but with the front on they both force more air out vents throughout coach.
Not knowing what model the middle one is I'd just check the fan to see if nothing is blocking or slowing the fan from pushing as much air out as possible.
May want to check bedroom AC for its stand alone air output see if there is a difference between the two.
Air from all AC's flow through same duct work so its hard to redirect air from one with out affecting the others.
