Do you have Auto Level jacks and are you parked on level or uneven ground?

Gary,
I had the same problem. Zero in on the front sensor that feeds leveling status to the jack computer. A connection or the sensor itself may have failed. If the computer doesn't receive a signal saying to stop it keeps going to it's max position.

This thread by Max H may be what you want to check out and make sure something hasn't disturb the level control under your coach.
Reason I asked if on level ground sometimes on auto, system can not level and you would have to level manually, cutting off Auto funtion.
In Quick Tips there is more info on HWH systems also.

Have you tried leveling the coach manually without the Auto function and would the front jacks still continue to operate on their own.

Not knowing at this time which leveling sensor you have Max H or Oemtech's within same thread not sure what to tell you but the sensor maybe the problem.
Did this problem just show up or has it been happening off and on?
You may want to check all wiring plugs to control units and ground wires making sure they are tight and clean no corrosion.

On ours, the air bags will dump, you can hear the jacks going down and then feel each corner level out. At this point you can feel the whole coach lifting and lifting and lifting. More than once it will lift until a wheel clears the ground. At this point I retract the jacks and start over. We always have to put down a step to get to the coach steps because it has risen so high.

Wingman once the level detector detects coach level all jacks should stop operation.
If jacks are rocking the coach sensor never detects level plain.

I don't want to hijack gary's post but ... you can hear the jacks going down, once one makes contact with the ground it will stop lifting. Then another will contact and stop lifting and it does this for all four. You will feel it level out and you think it is good right there. Then you feel the whole coach start to lift (all four corners together). It feels like 5-6 inches it will lift. It is the last part of the lifting that doesn't seem right.
