Keyless entry system

Hi all.
I have a 2006 Mountain aire and will be replacing the exterior key pad assy. I was looking up info on how to reprogram the unit and haven't found the info i need. Do i look for a yellow wire at the unit to program or there are references to a push button with by the steering column. I have found the switch, maybe it doesn't apply to my model year. Any thoughts on this subject?
Thanks.
Ian S

On my 07 M/A the button was not handy. If you remove the dash gauge assembly the brain was taped to a brace along with the button and antenna. If not in this location try the panel next to the passenger seat. Otherwise you will need to remove the assist handle and short the wires.

Quick question, how does this method of changing the access code affect the remote key-fob lock coding and the baggage door locks? Don't want to find out the hard way.

Doesnít affect it. There are separate instructions for that.
