Keyless Remote Intermittent

Hi.
My 2008 MADP keyless remote is intermittent. I suspect a bad ground at the wireless receiver -- but where the heck is it?

FYI, checked and cleaned the fuses, put new batteries in the fobs, checked coach & house battery charge levels -- all OK.

So ... where's the guts of the remote entry system that gets its signals from the fobs? Thanks.

I had Newmar look at my key-less remote setup on my '13 MADP while at Perry in March. I suspected that the controller had an issue. It was intermittent and locked me out of the coach on one occasion. What I learned was that the contact points on the door and the coach were the actual problem. I'm not saying that is your problem but the contact points (either three or four of them) are on a spring on the front side of the door and coach and can be adjusted if they aren't making good contact. Newmar made the adjustment and my door has worked like a charm since. The best part was the repair cost was $0!

Thanks,
Joe

Our box is under the dash, on top of the steering column.

We had an issue with ours and it turned out to be a bad key fob. Once that bad fob was replaced, it worked again.
