Peter,nice article! Loved the pictures. We have been through this area several times on our MY. It's a beautiful area of old Florida. My other memories include large boats at plane cruising the river and creating havoc for the smaller boats either fishing or sight seeing. Acutally, I saw one small boat capsized with a huge wake from a large boat that either didn't care or didn't realize his wake was hazardous to small boats. Still beautiful though.
