Kitchen slide won’t open

My 2016 Bay Star kitchen slide won’t open. The other two slides are fine. When I push the button to extend the slide I can hear a single click but no motor sound. I’ve checked the fuse. Is there some other troubleshooting I can do myself?

Mine did that a while back.

Turn off the 12v power button for one minute and then turn it back on. I did this after calling Newmar.

If you have the C-Storm controller there is a tab on it to reset the contrller memory.
This link has info on controllers and slide operations.

Recently my kitchen slide would not go out, so just as a test I pressed the button to bring it in. It moved just a bit, then it would go out.

Kitchen slide won’t open - New question

Thanks for the suggestions and the links. I tried each one, but unfortunately no progress. After lots of reading the links 007 provided, I have an idea I'd like to try but want to confirm I won't break anything else. I feel like I've learned just enough to be dangerous! The bedroom controller is right next to the kitchen controller and they look identical. Can I plug the connectors for the kitchen slide into the bedroom slide controller and try it? I'm thinking if that works then I know it's the controller and if it doesn't work then it's the relay or the motor?

Is the kitchen controller a C-Storm controller and have you tried to reset it before you do anything else.
Newmar search -- reset c-storm controller
Have you found the controllers are they both the same and does the kitchen slide have a incline, ramp, to travel up?

007 - I have found the controllers - they are Intellitec controllers, side by side identical controllers. The kitchen and bedroom slides (both are on passenger side) go straight out, no incline.

wildtoad - Good idea, I will call try calling Newmar. I have talked to my service rep, Steve Moser, a couple times and he has been very helpful in the past.

I did call the dealer and make an appointment to take it in but that's not for two weeks. It will be covered by extended warranty, but if this is something I can fix myself I would rather just take care of it.

I had the same problem, called Newmar, and they suggested swapping wires to the bedroom controller to test. Turned out the kitchen controller (Intelitec) blew a resistor. I bought a new controller, but also fixed the old one as a spare.
