We have a pedestal type kitchen table in our Torrey Pine 5ver. It has the table top that lifts up for storage, 2 leaves and the top can move. It is secured by sliding locks in the floor.

My question is: Does anyone else have one of these types of tables? And if so, is yours stable? It is a nice idea and kudos to Newmar for coming up with a way to lock it into place. But it still is so unstable. If you happen to put your hand on the table top when getting up you'd better hang on to your drink for something is bound to spill.

I'm almost ready to go to the store and find a table with 4 legs and find a way to lock it down.

Nice idea but I'm afraid I'm going to have dinner on the floor.

Sue, I even had a problem with my wife getting up from this table:

The table with leaf in is unbalanced to one side but was able to solve by turning table around when slide is opened.
Your table is unbalanced all around when getting up, other than adding a couple of metal extension legs that can be folded up when not needed or some kind of locking clips to floor from pedestal base a four legger is the only advise I could give you.
