Just wondering if we can replace the tap at our kitchen sink with ordinary residential taps...are the taps in RV's any different in any way? We have an 06 Kountry Star and would like to replace the taps with something a little nicer than the one currently installed.

Hi Angela,

We've replaced the original kitchen faucet with a very nice Grohe and the bathroom sink faucet with a single lever Kohler faucet. Sometimes it can be a challenge due to the connectivity back to the PEX, but you can make it work. Sometimes several trips to Lowe's or Home Depot is required, but, this is plumbing, so isn't that always the case. My husband did the install of the kitchen sink faucet. We got Newmar to do the install of the bathroom sink faucet at the International last year. We had to take the Newmar tech to a local hardware store for parts also. You can put in pretty much whatever you want.

Hi Angela1,
I have replaced our faucets with Delta brand faucets from Lowe's. All the fittings should be industry standard. The wife wanted the same faucets in the coach that we have in the stick house.

Go to HD or Lowes and pick out what you like that will fit your hole spacing. We added a much nicer faucet and a sprayer.

Same here. What came with our Bounder was rather "cheap" looking. Brushed nickel fixtures from HD look SO much better.
