I find the new coach sways or leans more than my previous DS. I think a lot of it is the increased height and higher center of gravity. I will be adding the Koni's to the rear and tag, plus Centramatics as long as I have the wheels off for the shocks.
What part number did you install for Koni on the front?

That I’m not sure. You will have to call sd truck springs and confirm. They were really helpful.

tel: 1(877)774-6473

For my Freightliner the # is 99B-3262. At least that is what this forum told me.

Jerry has the right part number. On the Koni site, I think they only go back to 2017 models, but nothing has changed.

I went by the Spartan display and the Tampa show to talk to them about the bouncing problem most of us are experiencing and they are aware of the problem ( No Kidding )and are replacing the shocks under warranty as long as our ride height is correct...

I had the updated shocks. The konis are far superior. Go for the upgrade. You can be all in under $500.

I just did the fronts. Didn’t have time for the tears. Tag axle makes a big difference in the ride to begin with and I’m always driving so it doesn’t bother me!!

Has Spartan allowed for the Koni shocks to be installed under warranty for anyone even as an out of pocket upgrade instead of the revolved stock ones?

I will add the Koni FSD's to the rear. From my past experience, there was no listing for the tag. I sent Koni the measurements and it ended up being the same shocks as the drive wheels.

I know some read this and think I'm nuts (along with some others) for changing out the shocks on a new coach, but I can feel the difference. I also install the Centramatics and shocks on the tag. It can be just as critical and get hopping or vibrating with a cheap shock or out of balance tire. With the horrendous roads in California, everything helps.

No. They will not install konis as a warranty upgrade for the bad bilsteins. My spartan certified RV dealer wouldn’t even install them for me when it was in the shop! “Liability” they claim... it’s 4 bolts guys....
