What can be wrong with the slide out if the bottom don't stay close.It come all the way in and then it come out about 1/4 in.may be 3/8.

1/4 to 3/8 of an inch,,,is this before or after the slide locks are engaged?

After the slide out is in all the way if you pay attention you can see that the slide came back out 1/4 3/8 in.

Do you have the old style locks that you use a bar to lock the slides into the coach? Is it a bedroom slide or the living slide.
1/4 to 3/8" is still going to seal with the rubber seal at the bottom of slide. If you can't lock it and traveling it moves out more than you would have something to worry about.

The trailer is 2005 and the slide is living room .No, the seal don't seal no more it is a gap now.
