Have found one at a reasonable price and mileage. I would like to hear anyone's input on this rig. I have considered Tiffin 34 RED and Winnebago 34 Journey. We plan to Fulltime!

Thanks for your input.

Here are some video's of Newmar construction.

Hi deasnealy,
Go to the link in 007's post. I have nothing to add to the post I made in that thread. Thanks 007, I don't know what we would without you around. My memory isn't near as sharp as yours is.

We have a 2004 3353, have owned it for just over 2 years and put about 15k miles on. It has been a good unit and I am very satisfied. There are always little things to fix and maintenance to be done but we have had no major breakdowns with either the coach or the chassis. There is enough load capacity that we can take everything we want and still pull a small pickup without approaching our limits. The cummins engine has performed well with decent mileage and performance. The biggest drawback that I find is acceleration from a standing stop, it does take awhile to get up to speed. One issue with these units is the checking on the full body paint models. Mine does have it, not a major problem imho, but not something you want to find out about after you buy. Good luck.

I sold a lot of these from 2002-2005. There isn't a lot of basement area for fulltiming, but should be more than a Journey due to the latter not having full pass through basement or raised rail chassis, plus space lost due to basement air con.

The Newmar has a generous dinette slide, full length air con return duct, thicker side walls that won't delam, more insulation, more roof insulation, more sub-floor insulation plus insulated belly.

You might want to check to see if the cabinets are hardwood on the Newmar(optional), I don't think the Journey does. Compare holding tank capacities.

I sold both Newmar and Winnebago and feel that Newmar would make a better full timing rig overall, although the Journey is a good coach.
