Has anyone had any trouble with the paint on the roof of their KSDP?
We have an 03 and the paint is faded and the clear coat is flaking off.
Out of warranty so Newmar basically says too bad. Mentioned it to them last year while at the factory for last warranty work and they wouldn't discuss it.

Darrold...I have an '04 KSDP 3904 and I have noticed that the paint on the seems at the front and rear caps is flaking off but only on the upper roof particularly where the vertical starts to round over to the horizontal portion of the roof. I'm out of warranty now also so I suppose I'll need to get the paint on my own and do a touch-up. Hope you can get yours repaired

Darrold welcome to the Newmar forum and irv2.
You didn't say if it was a fiberglass roof but my rubber roof needs cleaning and the front and rear caps need it also. The finish on caps seem to fad from the hot sun but if cleaned and polished they will shine but not as good as the face of the caps. You will not notice the finish line from street level you have to be on roof to notice the change.
