I'm currenty a non-Newmar RV owner who is interested in upgrading to a 2007 Kountry Star 3680 or 3681 (gas) with the entertainment unit in place of the sofa. Since I live in CA, there are not too many Newmar dealers close by to see any. Does anyone have pictures or know of any internet sites I can look at to see what this option really looks like? Anyone have any experience with the entertainment center on the floor?

Thanks

DDMO, went to their web site, newmarcorp.com, and could not find any model in there pics with that feature. There is a section on web site that you can get booklets of their models and a comment section where you maybe able to request the pic of a entertainment set up. They will mail what ever you want.
Welcome to the Newmar forum.

An option in the Essex floor plan is to have the love seat on the curb side removed and a fireplace/tv put in it's place....This brochure pic will at least give you "some idea" as to what that looks like....I know Newmar will do MOST ANYTHING you want.
Here's the pic....

I guess one issue with the side view entertainment may be when entertaining people. You all sit on one side, kind of like crows on a phone wire.

That is funny! But it sure keeps the others present from blocking one's view.

Funny!

With that set-up you wouldn't have to sit at an angle to watch the tv also!

The mid TV is the bees knees for not sitting side saddle watching TV. Your two front seats are the best seats in town.
