The kwikess steps are not working when the engine is off and the step switch is in either in the on or off position. It does work when the engine is on and the step switch is activated. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Are your batteries full charged, if engine is running alternator is running supplying the 12v, shut off engine no 12v for step.
May want to check ground cables off batteries to frame of coach.
