LED

Just finished converting Headlights (9007) to led. 2000W 330000LM 4 Sides CREE LED Headlight Lamp 9007 HB5 Hi/Low Beams Bulb 6500K. Ebay $21 and free shipping. Have converted every thing else to led but the fluorescent and fogs. Waiting on the bulbs to come in for the fog lights and the fluorescent will do a couple at a time when the lamps fail. Don't use them much anyway. Will take pics tonight for the full effect.

dj it always help to have the year and model of your coach in your signature line. Good to hear that you have switched to LED's but no information on what coach you updated.

We put LED lights in Essex for both headlights and fog lights and what a difference. Need to get this done on 18 LA. Be interested if the LED lights are the same as you used on your Newmar.

Tom:

According to his profile, it is a 40' Kountry Star. No year listed, but I think the KS was last offered in about 2012.

Might check the numbers you posted. A standard headlight is 30 watts. 2000 watts sounds quite powerful. Typical lumens is 3000, 330,000, again, a little bright!

Yes, some of the eBay sellers use too many zeros on their numbers, here's the listing:

Despite that, these seem to be OK lights.

Be careful with cheap LEDs. Ive already had a near fire with one that failed and some that came close. I haven't had any problems with UL certified LEDs. Others here have posted other manufactures that are reputable as well.

These are the ones I have always used in the past. But I always keep a close eye on anything electrical. Thanks for your response.
