LED lights in the pantry, ordering Canyon Star

I've seen comments from people about having LED lights installed in the pantry.
We're wondering about the need for this on the Canyon Star we are ordering.

I assume this option is accomplished by means of a special.

Is this a single light in the pantry or two or more lights?

Does anyone know the cost of such a special?

They maybe recessed LED lights in base of cabinets like you see in homes or you can install yourself.

I have a 2017 and was considering getting an estimate from Newmar for LEDs in the pantry. Although not needed with ceiling lights on - it sure would be nice to have some light in there late at night when most lights are low. I have seen LEDs in a new Dutch Star pantry and they were strip lights if I remember correctly.

One thing you may also consider is having LEDs run under a slide on the door side.

We have a 3953 with the kitchen slide just after the door. The motor home comes with the standard "Porch" light but it just blares.....The awning is poor and too high to attach an aftermarket LED string. So I had Newmar install the LEDs and is really nice......creates a nice light for night time outdoor sitting without lights in your eyes.

We are lucky and live close to the factory...

Good luck and congrats on your impending Canyon Star - we really love ours.
