Nice, where did you get them?

I just installed LED assemblies in my Dutch Star, I like them.

Got them at HFT, Harbor Freight.
Removed old light assembly entirely. These had to be installed with silicon sealant, which molded well with the black rubber seal. There were no screw holes on these lights, and I could not find any mounting base plate that would work. The electric connector was identical to the OEM. They work great!
I was slightly concerned as to the security, but they are holding up extremely well. Too bad I could not find a clear one to replace the backup light as well. I simply put an LED bulb in that.

The before and after look the same.
What do you expect changing the incandescent tail lights to LED tail lights will accomplish?
Wondering

LEDs are much brighter, and they pop at you when they illuminate.

Thx.

They were listed as 4", but really about 4 1/4" diameter (without the gasket)... about 2 " deep.
They have the same 3 pin connector that is on the coach. You can purchase them in most auto stores, and they come with the black rubber gasket that they squeeze into.
Now I would like to find a good replacement for the 3rd brake light!

Me thinks these are the lights the OP is talking about:

Did you try just fitting them into the Ventana's taillight cavity (after completely removing the old black plastic basket)?

I've been looking at standard 4" truck grommet mount lights similar to these and hoping I could just lay a bead of silicon and set them in without the rubber grommet.

I was looking at Peterson Lights (PMlights.com)
They have a 3 hole light 4" round LED Stop Turn Taillight. #824
Noone local carries them so a little hesitant to buy.

That is actually a common configuration (as opposed to the grommet mount type). My Ventana doesn't really have the 5.5" wide flat surface to comfortably mount that type.

That is what I did, but I used the gasket to help secure the light. I also thought it would make a nicer looking install... if I had used only the light with the silicon bead... it would not look as good. But, if you go that route... please post some pics.

Thanks for the details on your installation. It finally pushed me to order up some parts and try some ideas I've had rattling around in my brain for the last 8 months of ownership.

Maybe by the weekend I'll have something to show - if reality matches my mind's view
