Let’s play “Name That Fluid”

Saw this after I pulled away to leave for a trip yesterday. At the back of the coach. Radiator? Oasis? Coach seemed to do fine on 250 miles in extreme heat..

Thanks.Click image for larger version

Jeff:

That looks like coolant from the expansion tank. Since you mention "extreme heat," I'm guessing the expansion tank was full and burped a little out the overflow tube when you fired up the engine. Was the wet spot located in the area of the expansion tank?

I would keep an eye on the coolant level just in case it might be a leaking hose or coolant pump. You might want to check the hose clamps for tightness.

I agree with TJ, but if not it could be either, radiator or AquaHot. Your AquaHot has an engine loop which also uses the engine's coolant. Either was and as TJ said, keep an eye on your coolant level.

Just got off the phone with Spartan and I believe it is the coolant because there was zero in the sight glass. Off to the auto store to get some!!

I agree that it’s engine coolant.

I use global final charge.

Make sure you get the exact coolant that you have in there now !
