Hi all,

Long time reader, first time poster...

After extensive searching (both physically and on the internet) I cannot locate the cable tv port on the exterior of my coach. It is new to us this past winter and we've been able to figure out just about everything else.

Any idea where Newmar ran the RG6 on a 2005 MADP4301? After looking in every bay multiple times (with the help of campground neighbors) I'm at a loss.

I'm hoping one of you can point out the location and make me feel really, really silly for missing it!!!!!

Thanks,
Brent

This may not help for a 2005 MADP, but on my 2000 DSDP the cable input connection is in the electrical compartment where the shore power connection is. It's in a small, white, plastic box with two flip-up lids. One port is for the TV input and the other is for a telephone input (if anyone remembers a landline phone) The box is mounted to the side of the compartment.

I also have another cable TV connector in the basement used as an "output" connection for a exterior TV or a TV mounted in the basement.

Mine is also in the compartment where the shore power connection is.

It's up on the forward wall, near the very top.

Remember to watch cable turn the antenna booster off, turn it on to watch using the antenna. On ours it is in the electrical compartment behind an 120 volt electrical outlet cover, one is the cable the other is for a phone line.

As every Newmar owner has said should be in electric 50 amp cord compartment above converter, up and to the right, cut into frame rail of compartment with two small doors.
Welcome to Newmar forum with your first post add a few more and you can build a few camp fires.

On my '05 MADP 4304 it is located in the electrical compartment in a white box just above the transfer switch. The input for a land line is also in that white box as others have said.

In our '06 Country Coach Intrigue, it is in the compartment with the dump hose and water connection along with a phone line.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. The first place I looked happened to be the right place after all! I was looking for a simple setup; exposed wire with a small bracket. Newmar continues to impress me with the details, having the cable and phone in a neat, somewhat concealed location.

Now we'll have TV over the 4th...

Antenna booster should be close to where cable goes to TV. Usually a small button that you push to turn on and off. When on there is usually a light which comes on (red or green, etc.). Antenna booster must be off when hooked up to cable or Sattelite.

On our Baystar, the antenna booster is beside the passenger seat on the wall down low....not the most convenient spot, but we've never used the air antenna anyways since we have a dish.
