Locking FWS topper awning roller?

We are currently in a windy area and it keeps getting under the topper awning and ballooning it up. Is there any way to lock the roller to keep it from unfurling? I have tried to more the little arms that stick up at either end, but they don't seem to lock anything; just turn the roller.

Any thoughts will be appreciated.

There is only one way I know and that's put your slide in when it is windy.

Thanks for your post. I kinda figured that was the solution and it what I have done. I wondered about using a rope with a loop at the end placed over the little arm and the other end tied off at ground level, but was concerned about how much force might be applied by a strong gust. I think we'll just stick with pulling in the slide. Sometimes, the simple solution is the best one.

Regards,

TJ

Well, I am trying an improvised solution; a long strap dog leash looped over the little arm and secured at the bottom of the slide. So far, so good...but, the "bring in the slide" solution is certainly still on the table.
