North Trail Rv has one in stock. Go to their web
site for photos. Think I'll go down and cut them a check....hope they don't try to cash it.

Not as gaudy looking as most bus-conversions can be, but for that price, I think I'd want it to say "Prevost" on the front.

Phelpo, I test drove one of the demonstrator London Aires when in Nappanee recently and took some pictures of my own..
When I get back home on Sunday I'll get some of them up...

Jason, believe it or not, the London Aire floorplan is much different than the H345 or the XL and very inviting...
Newmar has another floorplan for the LA, the 4545 which is very similar to my 4502....

From what I can see in these pics, the LA looks must nicer than most Prevost or Newells inside.

Is the body of the LA fiberglass, or is it steel?

You are forgetting that the average price of the Prevost conversion is now between $1.2-$1.5 million, much more than the LA. As far as liveability, I agree that the London Aire may offer a much more attractive package, but it can be argued both ways and the big ticket bus owners love their rigs.

Those sales boys at Marathon are starving....I was offered 32% off retail several weeks ago, with a very generous allowance for the Essex...

I quickly came to my senses.....

You could get a Newell or Marathon for not much more than a LA -- and they are in a totally different league mechanically. Heck, You could pick up a new Blue Bird Wanderlodge for LESS than a LA and you get an all stainless steel body and tank-like construction.

Similar fiberglass RV's are less -- Foretravel Phoenix about $750K, CC Affinity about $800K, Beaver Marquis about $650K, the all stainless Wanderlodge is about $800K (all MSRPs). Newmar is pricing the LA into near bus-conversion territory.

Can a RV with a fiberglass box dropped on a RV chassis compete with a all-metal, vault-like constructed bus conversion? I guess we'll see.

Jason, you make some real good points, but a look to the standard features of all the coaches would answer some questions...

Personally,I wouldn't put the Foretravel or Beaver in the same class as those listed in the rest of the sentence, nor would an "all stainless body" interest me....The BB Wanderlodge is truly bulletproof, but just not for me.
When I looked Marathon I was looking fiberglass and not the half crinkly steel sides....just a personal observation, but that's why they make so many different ones...My neighbor is the past prez of the Marathon Owner's Club and has a new 345 sitting there so I've been all over it.

To add to Bob's comments, the Prevost H3 45 which is all glass is $100,000 more than the XL 45 stainless wrapped coach.
I prefer the outside of the H3 but the inside of the XL as one front seat is usable in the later for bening parked whereas both are not usable in the H3.

Bob G, did I read you were going to be at River Bend this winter?

That location is 13 miles east of the old home.
