London Aire question

I have a LA on order. My question is in the bay on passenger side just in front of rear wheels there is peg board, I assume the tanks are behind that? How much room is there behind the peg board? On my Entegra I opened that area up to get some extra storage. Is that possible with the Newmar?

ZMan,

There is about 1.5 inches of clearance between the tanks and the pegboard on my Ventana LE, not sure what there is in the London Aire but assuming the clearance will be similar.

People have used that space for storage of many items look in QT's # 3 to Mods on the 2013 coach's by the HOOT's.
Here for instance, scroll back and forth in this long thread to pick up more Mods.

No photos, but the gray and black tank are side by side or fore and aft of one another with the freshwater tank on top. I recall that there's very little room behind the pegboard, just a couple of inches.

This is my Ventana LE, I had the pegboard out to install my Garnet SeeLevel 714 tank monitoring system. I have no idea what your tanks look like but assuming they could be a similar configuration. Hope this helps.

My Dutch Star looks exactly the same as the Ventanna. I just added the same tank sensors a couple days ago.

I did move my peg board back as far as I could, then shortened the peg board. Now I store my water softener in there.

Will post up pics later when I get them off my camera.

Zman, I wouldn't count on there being much. Remember, you have the largest tanks Newmar uses. Any extra space is apt to be filled with tank! I created some extra storage above my batteries and on the sides. You won't have side room available with the 16 batteries, but should have room on top. I store plastic containers here which aren't likely to corrode, even if the batteries were wet cells.

This is the spot where I'll be installing a TV during the winter months; there's already TV connections on the wall inside the next forward compartment on my 2014 Ventana LE. I plan to run the cables up and over the panel or drill a small hole to pass thru the cables to the connections...looks to be an easy job. Vizio has a 2" deep 32" 1080p smart TV and I found an articulating mount that is 2" deep si I think I'll be good to go.
