LongView RV to carry Newmar products at Florida location

NAPPANEE, Ind. -- Newmar Corporation, a manufacturer of Class A motorhomes and fifth wheels, announced today that LongView RV Superstores, Inc. is its newest Florida dealer.
“LongView is now selling Newmar's highest volume and fastest selling products, which include the Bay Star and Canyon Star Gas Motorhomes as well as the Ventana Diesel Pusher brand,” said John Sammut, Newmar vice president of sales and marketing.

Looks like a good location since the folks over in Seffner don't carry the products.

This is interesting. Harberson RV over in Clearwater has sold Newmar for years. Harberson was not part of the Newmar display at the Tampa Super Show this year. hummmm........

I did not go to the Itasca display. At the Tampa Show I am at the Newmar display quite a bit and the aftermarket buildings. And the food vendors. Once again, I was a success this year. I spent a bunch of $s at the after market displays.

My hope with all these moves is that it motivates North Trail to open their promised Sales and Service Center in Dania Beach here on the east coast. I could use something closer and there is no major dealer in the South East Florida Area. We have to travel to Tampa and Ft. Myers to see any variety. I am so sorry I missed the Tampa Show this year. My friend went and bought an American Eagle; That must have been fun.

I also did not see Independence RV at Tampa. I was at the Itasca display and do not remember the dealers. Longview has a good location on I-4.

Independence chose not to go to Tampa as there was the Orlando home show at the same time and they are right down the road for that.
Newmar/Longview, don't get it! Hope they can come up to Newmar standards for service!
Is Harbison still in business, don't hear much about them anymore.

D in Davie, Damn! I just saw North Trail on the West side of 95 just North of Outdoor world. The place is huge and already has a lot full of campers. I to need a closer service dept. for my 04 dutchstar. I've been going to land yatchs is West Palm. They are great but are far away.

I went by there two weeks ago and did not see any activity. I will go by this weekend. If their there, I'm there.

Maybe there is hope for us Nor'Easters yet they have two locations up here maybe one of them will carry Newmar line.
Its a open market up here for them.
