Hello,

My wife, Sandy, and I plan to become full-time RVers in September of 2009. We made this decision three months ago and I have already learned a lot, but lots more to learn. One of the things I have learned is that there are very few complaints about Newmar Motor Homes. We plan to purchase a used DP and I'd like to stay under 40' as we plan to tow a Saturn VUE. Comments, suggestions, ideas, helpful input are all welcome. Thanks.

George & Sandy welcome to the Newmar Forum on irv2
All is not rosey all the time but a NEWMAR will give you good years of reliable performance. Buying used most problems should be taken care of if the owner has had any problems taken care of by a good dealer or at the Newmar repair center.
We can answer any questions you may have and "FIND" just above you will answer questions for you also. Leave the check mark in block to stay within this forum for questions related to a Newmar.
As a owner of a Workhorse gas the later chassis have made some vast improvements since the older chassis.
Plenty of people on this forum that have DP's and some of the new models are very nice.
You can go to newmarcorp.com to see first hand the newer 2007 models and find spec's for chassis and options on models you maybe interested in. Some options have been the same on earlier coaches, floor plans would be different.
Enjoy the forum and irv2 read and post often.

Hi George and Sandy,
Can you say if this will be your first coach or have you had coaches, in the past? My answer to your question will be different, depending on your level of experience.
thanks,
