Looking for news of Mike Fousie/Lightcurve on the Road

Mike posts here, or did, for some time, I think since about 2001. His online name is MichaelFousie I believe.

Does anyone know how Mike is doing?

He has not posted on his blog (Lightcurve on the Road) for several months now.

I heard from him two months ago. He has not been keeping the licensing up on the web site but at that time, was still in the fight. I know he was looking forward to a final surgery and that it would not happen if he didn't see improvement in healing from previous surgery. Beyond that I don't have anymore information.

Mikes a great guy, cares about the environment and people and just the type of individual you would want watching out for our National Parks; a job he loves.

I am sure the loss of Blue hit him hard. We have companion animals too; they become like children. He lost Blue while busy trying to heal. Very sad.

I have followed his adventures as he travels (and lives) in his motorcoach for years now and miss his photographs and comments.

He didn't respond to my last email; I keep checking the site and hoping for some word. If anyone wants to send along good wishes, PM me and I'll give you his email address.

Gary
