I have a 2005 4304 MADP, the front running light (round lights on the bottom of the front fender) on one side is out, does anybody know the replacement number for this bulb (I assume I can buy one from an automotive store). PS. Visually the bulb looks good and I was able to take it out of the metal socket it is in, out of curosity I looked at the good bulb and I can not take it out of the metal socket it is in, I assume I can just replace the bulb but I don't really know, I might have to replace the metal socket, so if anyone can shed some light on this please let me know.

Thanks

Sonny

It could be the socket for light is dirty or corroded. Check it with a meter set to ohm's or a tone. Most lights have a code number on bulb or metal sleeve.

The bulb does not have a metal sleeve like a 1156 bulb, it's more like a wedge style bulb (it's all glass) and I can't find tow metal prongs in/on the bulb to do an ohm test, common sense tells me there should be two wires coming out but my eye site is kinda bad and I can't see them. No numbers are stamped on the bule either. I might wind up calling Newmar if I can't find one at an automotive store.

The wires would be on flat surface of tongue of bulb. You may be able to match size at auto store 12v.

The bulb "assembly" you removed (unclipped from the headlight assembly) might actually be a two piece unit where the bulb itself is simply pulled out of its sub-socket assembly. The bulb might be a H1 (12258). Post a clear closeup picture as it might help ID what you need to do.

The light I was referring to was the fog light, I found a light bulb and assembly at NAPA on sale for 6 bucks. It's a H3 halogen bulb (I used a 55 watt light), real easy after I figured it out. Thanks for the feedback.
