We are pretty excited about the prospect of this deal. We will head up to Midway RV this Tuesday and plan two days of exploring the coach and all the other stuff that comes with making a deal.

It looks like Sandee will actually be the first to drive the coach. I had surgery last Wednesday to fix a torn bicep tendon.

It sounds like Midway RV is going to be pretty busy for the next couple weeks prepping for some new coach deliveries. If all goes well we are looking at returning around the 20th of the month to give them our coach, sign on the dotted line and pick up the new one.

At this point we don't see anything to cause us to cancel these plans. I'm working on getting an inspector to give the coach the once over. I am also working with JG Lubricants to get sample kits sent to midway RV so I can pull samples this week while we are there.

The coach already has Air Force One installed. The other thing that we will want to get done is removing the dome satellite dish and replacing it with the traveler to work with our Direct TV genie receiver.

Because of my surgery our initial plans for this summers traveling to Canada are being scrubbed. Because of that, we will be checking out the possibility of trying to attend the HOOTS rally. Too early to do anything specific about that but we will see.

BTW. It appears some of you have figured out the coach we are looking at. But just in case you haven't...

Nice coach. We just came thru there a few days ago. Currently in Milwaukee slowly winding our way to Gillette. Hope you heal fast. Good luck on the purchase.

She's a beauty, and you are ahead of the game, shelving in the peg board compartment and the storage slide opposite the Oasis. If you could, I would really appreciate a part number on that slide and also if you could let me know how far it slides out. I want to get that short slide to put my Traeger on, but I need it to slide out far enough that the outside of the coach doesn't get hot.

One tip when you go to pick her up. Make sure all the pumps work on the Oasis, especially the summer loop pump.

Our '02 DSDP was overloaded on the front axle if I filled the propane and fuel tanks BEFORE we ever loaded it or sat in the seats.
Newmar had Spartan replace the 12,000# axle with a 14,600# one, then I later went to 305/70 tires to be able to use the full rating.

My late wife liked the 4375 floor plan better, but the 4369 we looked at had the bar stools in front of the TV and window. Maybe the couch would have worked for her.

Let's just say that I was extremely underwhelmed by the bar stool configuration.

I don't have a part number but here are the measurements

height of tray sides 5"
width 42.5"
length 56"
tray floor to bottom of chassis rails 13"

BTW - basement floor to bottom of chassis rail 16.5"

We are starting to run into a problem.

So far, the only service records provided were from Midway RV Center on warranty work they have done. It appears the owner had other service work down somewhere else. I'm pushing my sales person on getting the rest of the records but nothing yet.

We are planning to get an extended service contract but without records I'm worried that the contract isn't going to save me from a major issue with the chassis, motor or transmission.

I do know there is one funky issue and that is that the generator only had 34 hours before we saw it. That means it hasn't been serviced even one time. I'm prepared to accept that...maybe.

If we don't get them soon we may pull out of the deal. I suppose I could try to renegotiate the price.

We have put a lot of time and effort into this deal and I know I have to be careful about emotions. SIGH!

I know a DP is a big expense more than a gas coach, you must have driven this coach and you have been driving a older coach so if anything didn't sound right, or act right, you would know it.
I often wondered how many sales were canceled after DP owners got their oil analysis reports back if something didn't look right?
These large heavy DP's are a tough lot just take a look at this thread of one getting smashed by two trucks and is coming back to life, its amusing what they take to die.

DONE!

Going to miss the old coach but looking forward to the new features. Started transferring stuff today but the rain cut that short.
