Loss of dc power

While parking in our campsite at Lake Kissimmee SP this weekend, I opened the door and the steps never activated. I checked lights and nothing worked.
When I plugged in the shore power everything was working again. Then later during a bad rainstorm the Park's electric went off. I went inside the coach to turn off appliances to prevent a spike it surge when the electric came on again. I notice I didn't have any lights again and the steps didn't operate.
To sum it up - I have DC power when the generator is on or shore power is connected.

I've checked breakers and fuses.

Is there a switch that transfers to battery power when there's an absence of AC voltage??

When your shore power or Gen is active your getting 12v power from your converter.
Your battery cut off switch needs to be on and not in storage mode when your using your coach. See if you can read your battery voltage on your BCO switch.
In the Bird charging system you could have a bad solenoid relay contact and it may need replacement.

Found the problem by chasing DC voltage around the BIRD/solenoid compartment.
The problem was my wrong doing. When cleaning all the battery posts and cables on the coach batteries I failed to double check my work.
I failed to hook the cables up properly leaving the coach with no 12 volts.

Thanks again for your help 007! You're always there to help and I certainly appreciate it.

Next week I will be under the coach cleaning grounds and mapping their locations for future info.

Oh come one now, that's no fun!! Don't you like the "thrill" of the hunt? Anymore I grab a camera AND label them when I finally get it figured out AGAIN!
